If you’re usually near the bottom of the sign up list, you probably know what it’s like to have to sit and wait for your battle to start. Sometimes you could be waiting and anticipating over an hour. Your energy drains, and early competitors are setting the bar higher as the prelims roll. So its a good idea to sign up as early as possible. Another advantage is that the judges will have a fresher and more clear mind on what you do. By the end of watching an hour of bboys straight, the judges have a lot of info stored which could likely effect their focus.
